STATUTES OF CORPORACIÓN HORIZONTES COLOMBIANOS

CHAPTER I Name, Address, Corporate Purpose and Duration.

ARTICLE 1 NAME OF THE ENTITY. The entity that is regulated by these statutes is a non-profit entity, which is constituted as a Corporation and is called CORPORACIÓN HORIZONTES COLOMBIANOS and may also act under the acronym C. H. C.

ARTICLE 2 ADDRESS. The entity that is constituted has its domicile in the city of Bogotá D. C. / Colombia – South America, its main office is located at CR 6 B Este No 88 G – 18 Sur.

Telephones: 310 254 5321 – 312 604 9037, and may open offices outside of Bogotá D.C. and in other countries of the world.

ARTICLE 3 DURATION. The entity that is being established will have a duration of sixty (60) years, starting from October 17, 2002.

ARTICLE 4 SOCIAL PURPOSE. Obtain financial and institutional support from individuals and legal entities focused on improving conditions of education, health, social welfare, as well as the visibility, promotion and dissemination of practices, knowledge and traditions of indigenous, Afro, and peasant communities and their various manifestations.

Promote initiatives, programs or projects of holistic traditional medicine, with an intercultural approach, environmental education, community research, research-creation, alternative tourism, coexistence and education for peace, accompanied by activities that seek to improve the quality of life and coexistence.

Promote actions for peace, coexistence, the environment, traditional knowledge and human rights, as well as the promotion of art and ritual as strategies for social awareness among communities with an intercultural and experiential approach.

Facilitate cultural exchange with people from different countries who express interest in sharing with ancestral and peasant communities of Colombia and Latin America.
