The Horizontes Colombianos CHC Corporation began its cultural work in October 2003 in the “Parte del Arte – Galería” space, located at the CHC headquarters at that time.

This project was created with the intention of establishing an exchange between Colombian and German artists. For 4 years it had a physical space, where multiple collective and individual exhibitions of Colombian and German artists were held, such as: Carlos Rojas, Edgar Negret, Darío Ortiz, Doris Hinzen – Roehrig, Umberto Giangrandi, Mario Salcedo, Jim Amaral, Gladys Ortiz, among many others.

This space was opened to exhibitions by artists with disabilities such as Aydée Ramírez, to excellent little-known artists, and also to exhibitions of undergraduate theses by students from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.

The gallery was known for a constant movement of exchange and for its artistic and social activities.

Closing of the “Parte del Arte – Galería” space in 2007 due to lack of financial support.

The CHC has done a great job with this project, including all strata, such as artists and spectators, awakening the taste for one of the fine arts, which are the visual arts, which goes against the violence that the country is experiencing.

We have been able to raise funds for the CHC, as well as supporting artists, who are living an increasingly complicated situation and also please the people who have visited this space.

Through “Parte del Arte – Galería” many people learned about the social management of the Horizontes Colombianos Corporation.

The intention is to resume the project for its online operation.
