Constitution and Recognition

The Dr. Heinz Umpfenbach and Wolfgang Hübner Peace Foundation is a German nonprofit foundation with legal capacity and its registered office in Berlin.

Legal recognition

According to the certification issued by the Berlin Senate Department for Justice and Consumer Protection, the Foundation is governed by civil law and by the Berlin Foundation Act of 27 June 2024.

Supervision and representation

The Foundation is under the state supervision of Berlin. Its institutional body is the Foundation Council, which is responsible for representing it in and out of court.

In accordance with its statutes, the Council acts through its chair or the person serving as vice-chair.
